Ellis Fresh Water Supply District 1 is temporarily changing its water disinfectant from chloramine to free chlorine, as part of the City of Midlothian's routine maintenance protocol. This change will begin on October 1, 2024 and will remain in effect through October 31, 2024.

Residents may notice a change in the taste and odor of their water during this time, but the water remains safe for use.
